Ideal place for mountain and ski enthusiasts, located in the heart of the 3 Valleys ski area (Les Ménuires, Saint Martin de Belleville, Val Thorens, Méribel, Courchevel).

Le Lavassay (or Levassaix) is a small typical village of the Belleville Valley ideally located, you can enjoy a quiet environment and a breathtaking view of the mountains.

The center of the resort of Les Ménuires as well as the restaurants, bars, shops and various activities are less than a kilometer away. Free shuttles are in place at the top of the village to reach the Ménuires resort.

You can go directly to the slopes, on skis, and return to the apartment on skis (depending on snow conditions). The Bettex slope (blue slope) is 100m away and the chairlift which connects the village to Les Ménuires is 400m away by the slope.

Transport

You can reach the Belleville Valley very easily. Thanks to its 3 large resorts, St Martin de Belleville, Les Ménuires and Val Thorens, the valley is very well served.

-By car: about 2 hours from Lyon, taking the A43, A430 to Albertville, then N90 to Moûtiers, take exit 40 and follow the D117 to St Martin de Belleville. Continue on the main road (D117) and turn right just before Les Ménuires and the Val thorens roundabout; easy to access, you will find free parking spaces at the entrance to the village 100m from the apartment. In winter, it is strongly recommended to have snow tires and / or chains.

- By train: SNCF station at "Moûtiers / Salins / Brides les Bains", many trains and TGVs serve this station in the winter season. Then you can take the bus at the bus station towards Val Thorens or a taxi, it will take you about 45 minutes to get to Les Ménuires.

-By plane: flights arrive at Grenoble, Chambéry, Geneva or Lyon airports depending on where you are coming from. The transfer time can vary between 1:45 and 3:00 depending on the airport.
